Our karate schools strongly believe that if you are looking for more than a hobby and you truly want to learn to defend yourself through karate, firstly you must have a good foundation of well structured traditional karate along with regular fitness training and sparring is essential. AKS offers exactly this, teaching traditional Wado-Ryu, advanced Shito-Ryu Kata, sparring, practical street-style self-defence, WKF sport karate and fitness training which includes fun games for the younger students and the young at heart.  Classes are open to both children and adults.  We teach karate to children but not 'childrens' karate' therefore classes are suitable for everyone.  Families training together are welcome - discounts provided. Classes remain open during school holidays.
